World of Stardom title match fallout
In the main event of the show, Maika unsuccessfully challenged Tam Nakano for the World of Stardom Championship. She previously earned the right to compete for the belt after defeating Saya Kamitani to win this year’s 5 Star Grand Prix. Maika went undefeated in the tournament, besting all her fellow competitors in the block.
Tam Nakano and Maika promised to meet each other in the ring again in the future. However, it was not long until Tam called Suzu Suzuki from the commentary table to join her in the ring. Tam officially laid out the challenge to Suzu for the World of Stardom title following the cancellation of their championship match last year. Suzu won the 5 Star Grand Prix the year prior and was scheduled to face Tam for the red belt then. Unfortunately, Tam suffered a knee injury that took her out of action.
As of the time of writing, there has been no confirmation of the details of the championship match between Tam Nakano and Suzu Suzuki. WrestleZone will provide updates on the potential title match upon confirmation.
