It’s almost time for WWE RAW!
WWE is bringing its flagship show to the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary (Alberta), Canada. Top acts include Gunther, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Damian Priest.
Here’s what’s on tap for the September 9 episode of Monday Night RAW.
Bret Hart returns to WWE RAW
The Hitman will appear on RAW in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
WWE backstage correspondent Jackie Redmond previously announced Hart’s appearance on the red brand, with Paul “Triple H” Levesque hyping up the news on social media.
The WWE Hall of Famer will make his first appearance on Raw in nine years. He last appeared for WWE at Clash at the Castle in 2022.
The Wyatt Sicks vs. American Made – Street Fight
Weeks of animosity between the Wyatts and American Made has led to this.
Chad Gable challenged the Sicks to a Street Fight last week following Diamond Mine’s win over Alpha Academy. The challenge was accepted by Uncle Howdy.
Wyatts had previously debuted on WWE RAW at the expense of people backstage, including Chad Gable. The mysterious group would have a stunning in-ring debut several weeks later against Gable and the Creeds in six-man tag team action.
Howdy defeated Gable in his singles debut on 8/26 RAW.
Jey Uso vs. Ilja Dragunov vs. Pete Dunne vs. Braun Strowman – Intercontinental title no. 1 contendership fatal four-way match
It’s the fight to earn a shot at the prestigious WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Jey Uso and Pete Dunne both qualified for the finals by winning their respective triple threat matches on 8/26 WWE RAW. Dragunov and Strowman punched their ticket to the finals the following week on the red brand.
For those unaware, Strowman subbed for Bronson Reed after he tested positive for COVID.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match on WWE RAW
The women’s tag team titles will be on the line tonight.
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defeated The Unholy Union for the titles at Bash in Berlin. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn defeated Damage CTRL to run it back with the new champions.
Which of these two teams will walk out with the Women’s Tag Team Championship? WrestleZone will have full coverage of RAW as it airs.
