The feud between MJF and Daniel Garcia continued to escalate on AEW Dynamite.
Daniel Garcia returned at AEW All In, where he cost him the AEW American Championship and his match with Will Ospreay. The two foes are set to clash in a grudge match at AEW All Out.
Garcia came to the ring on the September 4 episode of AEW Dynamite and called out MJF, who appeared in the crowd. They went back and forth on the microphone, with Garcia saying that everything about MJF was fake, from his hair to his love for AEW. He made it clear that he wanted to end MJF’s career.
The former AEW World Champion responded by saying that he would put Garcia in a wheelchair, but beyond that, he would help him. He explained that Garcia did not want the people to root for him, and he used himself as an example. MJF said that the fans loved him, but they turned on him. With that in mind, he said he would hurt Garcia so that the people couldn’t.
Garcia charged into the crowd and fought off security. MJF then bashed him with a wine bottle, busting him open in the process. He ended the showdown by saying that Garcia has awakened something in him that’s been dormant for far too long. MJF also vowed to send Garcia to paradise by putting him through hell.
MJF previously took out Daniel Garcia with a brutal attack on the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.
