A new report provides an update on Odyssey Jones after he was removed from WWE’s official roster page.
Jones last wrestled on the August 19 episode of WWE RAW. There, he and The New Day beat The Final Testament. However, his storyline with the New Day has seemingly been dropped. It was not mentioned on the September 2 episode of WWE RAW.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the situation. He stated that nothing was confirmed. However, in asking around, he learned that Odyssey Jones’ removal from the roster was not a glitch. (H/t Ian Carey of F4WOnline.com)
Meltzer stated that he was “relatively certain” that Jones was done, but that had not been confirmed. He said that it looked like Jones was no longer with the company, as his angle was apparently done, and he was not mentioned whatsoever on the latest episode of WWE RAW.
Additionally, Meltzer noted that Jones was in line for a push, so the situation had nothing to do with how his on-screen run had been going. He stated that there was nothing he could otherwise confirm at this point.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that after being given a heads up that Odyssey Jones’ status had changed on Sunday, he confirmed that Jones was not at WWE RAW. Per Sapp, Jones was not factored into plans for the show, and he was not in “immediate creative plans.” However, no further context was provided.
The report notes that talent haven’t heard from WWE about what is going on with Odyssey Jones, and WWE has not responded to an inquiry in an official capacity.
Odyssey Jones was drafted to WWE RAW in both 2023 and 2024. He had just recently made his debut and aligned with the New Day.
