New challengers will be determined on the September 3 episode of WWE NXT.
WWE announced that TNA’s The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) will face Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) and Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in a Number One Contender’s Match on Tuesday. This comes after Wentz defeated Wes Lee at NXT No Mercy and called out NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom for a match.
Additionally, Lexis King will face Oro Mensah.
The updated lineup is as follows:
- NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Match: The Rascalz (Wes Lee & Trey Miguel) vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang)
- Lexis King vs. Oro Mensah
- Trick Williams vs. Pete Dunne
