As first reported, Chigvintsev was booked into a Napa County Jail on a felony domestic battery charge on Thursday. There was no word on whether Nikki Garcia was involved in the incident. Injuries were reportedly involved in the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
In another report, TMZ released the radio dispatch from Artem Chigvintsev, which revealed that he called 911 to request help, and he claimed that Nikki Garcia had thrown shoes at him. On the call, the dispatcher said that Chigvintsev was “stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at rp [reporting party].”
Per TMZ, Chigvintsev called the paramedics off, saying that it was not needed. The dispatcher said that four-year-old Matteo, the son of Artem and Nikki, was at home, and he was with Nikki. The report notes that officers arrived an hour later, and the injuries were visible on the alleged victim. Artem was then arrested for felony corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant.
