Report: Nikki Cross Re-Signs With WWE

Nikki Cross looks to stay with WWE for a few more years.

According to a report from Fightful (via Fightful Select), Cross signed a new, multi-year deal with WWE. The outlet noted that negotiations between Cross and WWE were ongoing in the spring, prior to her joining the Wyatt Sicks faction.

Cross appears regularly on RAW as part of the new Wyatt faction. However, she has not wrestled a match since she was in a #1 Contender’s Battle Royal on the November 2, 2023 episode of WWE RAW. Prior to that, her last singles match came against Kiana James on the October 12, 2023 episode of Main Event.

Nikki Cross has been with WWE since April 2016. She is a former Raw Women’s Champion, 3-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and 11-time WWE 24/7 Champion. Additionally, she is also the 2021 Women’s Money in the Bank winner.

Myla Grace on Nikki Cross

Marigold’s Myla Grace recently spoke with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay about potentially working with specific WWE Superstars in the future, one of them being real-life friend Nikki Cross.

“Obviously I would definitely love to wrestle Nikki [Cross]. I feel like that’s a match that needs to happen. I would love to wrestle Rhea [Ripley], I love wrestling big girls. Feel like as well I need to wrestle Lyra [Valkyria] because I knew her in the indies. I knew her in Ireland. We’ve trained together and stuff, but we never wrestled, not even like a tag match, not even a rumble, nothing. We always just missed each other.”

“When I made my debut, it was me and another trainee for a while against each other while she was in the women’s division. It was like, this is your last [training] match, now you’ll be in the women’s division, and then the promotion closed down. Then she got sent to NXT UK, and then I went down NXT UK, but she got injured. Then when she got cleared, she went to America, so we’ve just kept missing each other. I feel like that is a match that it has to happen sometime.”
