AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 Advertised For London

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door is headed across the pond in 2025.

Several fans have spotted ads for the event in London ahead of this weekend’s All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium.

This is the first time AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door will take place in the UK. It’s also the first time the event will take place outside of North America.

The first three events took place in Chicago (2022), Toronto (2023) and Long Island, NY (2024).

In addition to the Forbidden Door advertisement, All In 2026 will also return to London. The 2025 event will move stateside and take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Will AEW return to the UK in 2025?

Tony Khan addressed the potential of more events in the UK during his AEW All In media call on Thursday afternoon. Khan was asked if AEW is considering bringing a PPV and television taping back to England or the UK in 2025.

“It’s certainly on the table, definitely something we would consider,” Khan replied. “I absolutely love the UK. I’ve spent a lot of my life living in England, and specifically in London, and I absolutely love it. It’s great being back here and it’s great traveling here in the UK. In this case, it was our first-ever AEW show in Wales, and it’s the first time we’ve done TV in the UK at all. It’s really exciting and there’s so many great cities throughout the UK, and I’ve driven all around London, from Fulham playing all of the great teams here in England, but we’ve also traveled to Wales many times for football.

“There’s lots of great cities all over the UK and I know from experience in English football there are a lot of great towns with really passionate fans, and that this is a great place to be,” he continued. “You see it in wrestling, that crowd last night was magic. They were tremendous for Dynamite and I’m really excited for people to see Collision this weekend with that Cardiff crowd. It’s all a big preview of what’s to come this weekend.

Tony Khan teases more AEW events in the UK

“There’s going to be a huge crowd at Wembley Stadium, it’s going to be one of the biggest pro wrestling crowds we’ve ever seen and it’s certainly going to be a historic night for AEW and a really, really exciting time for us,” Khan added. “Not only all of the stuff I mentioned leading into this pay-per-view, but what’s ahead in 2025. And absolutely, to answer your question, I do think that would be something on the table for 2025, more events in the UK, where we’ve had great success with AEW.”
