Chris Jericho‘s long feud with HOOK will seemingly climax this weekend at AEW All In.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Chris Jericho recently sat down with the Daily Star. When asked about what it’s like to be in a feud with the son of Taz (HOOK), Jericho spoke about working with Taz in ECW and WWE and what his son HOOK has been able to do in his short time with the company.
“I’ve wrestled a few sons before, but yeah, I mean, Taz and I, I’m not going to say we ever had a huge feud, but he was one of my first matches I ever had in ECW,” Chris Jericho said. “I worked with him more than a few times in WWE. So yeah, it’s cool to see his son and what HOOK has been able to do.
“Because I think at first HOOK, I’m not sure if he wanted to be in the business. I think he was just kind of there and just kind of like, ‘Okay, I’ll give it a try.’ But now he’s really feeling it. He’s doing a great job. And, yeah, once again, like to me, it is crazy to think I’ve been doing this for 33 years. But it’s not that crazy, because I’m still really enjoying it and still doing it at a high level and creating really cool moments by keeping fans involved and happy or angry if that’s the way they feel. But that’s okay, that’s the wrestling business.
“So yeah, I’m happy to work with Taz’s son, and with Dynamite’s Nephew, and with anybody else. It’s just great to be a part of such an awesome company like AEW that we’ve built so quickly in just five years. And to know that I was an integral part of it and still am is an honor.”
