Multiple title matches have been announced for the August 23 episode of WWE SmackDown.
On the August 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) faced #DIY in a Number One Contender’s match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The two teams battled back and forth in a thrilling match. Gargano got a near fall on a superkick/Fairy Tale Ending combination. Dawkins rallied with a neck-breaker, and the Street Profits hit Gargano with a double-team Blockbuster for the win.
WWE then confirmed that The Street Profits would challenge The Bloodline for the titles on the August 23 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Plus, LA Knight will defend the WWE United States Championship against Santos Escobar.
Additionally, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi will face Blair Davenport and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre.
