An unfortunate injury to Davey Boy Smith Jr. opens the door for TJP to compete in the MLW Opera Cup later this month.
Major League Wrestling recently announced in a press release that a recent injury to Davey Boy Smith Jr. has forced him to withdraw from this year’s MLW Opera Cup. Davey Boy will be replaced by TJP who will take on Tom Lawlor in the quarterfinals. This match will take place in New York City on August 29 as part of Summer of the Beasts.
Details on Davey Boy Smith Jr.’s injury are currently unknown.
