Jey Uso would prefer his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, would just watch the show and let him work.
In recent weeks, Rikishi has been very vocal when it comes to the booking of his son Jey Uso on WWE programming. On a recent episode of his podcast, he had the following to say:
“I got hairs on the back of my neck every time I watch him (Jey Uso)… SummerSlam, where is he? Let’s write him into he likes Mami. Mami? That’s the best that those writers got?” Rikishi said. “Let’s write this guy into a relationship with Mami? What y’all trying to do? Break his marriage up? Y’all can’t put him in a good storyline so what you gonna do now? God forbid you guys try to tell her tongue kiss each other on Raw. Sh*t. That better not happen.”
RAW Superstar Jey Uso was a recent guest on The Ringer Wrestling Show. When asked about his father’s recent comments, Uso said he recently talked to his father about it and asked him to just watch the show and let him work.
“He just said what he said about my creative,” Jey said. “I’m like, ‘Dad. Just watch the show. Let me work. Let me go out and work, enjoy the show. Make your rap track.’ That’s pops, though. Shoutout to my dad.” [H/T: Fightful]
