The NJPW G1 Climax 34 qualifier tournament is underway.
The NJPW Soul event on June 22 featured two first-round bouts. First, Callum Newman defeated Yujiro Takahashi. Newman will face KENTA in the semi-finals.
Elsewhere on the show, YOSHI-HASHI defeated Chase Owens in another tournament match. He will face Tomohiro Ishii in the semi-finals.
At the NJPW Soul event on June 23, Oleg Boltin beat Toru Yano in one qualifier, while TJP defeated Satoshi Kojima in another. Boltin will face Hiroshi Tanahashi in the semi-finals at the July 3 event, and TJP will face Taichi. The finals will be held on July 5.
