TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace believes her appearance at NXT Battleground was good enough to continue the relationship of TNA and WWE.
Grace, who also participated in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble prior to her winning match at Battleground, recently spoke with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, where she opened up about the potential for the worlds of TNA and NXT to continue their relationship.
“I think [TNA Against All Odds] is important, but the one there in front of their faces was probably the most important one,” said Grace. “I think I did well enough that we’re going to continue on with it. There are so many cool things that can happen. The Rascalz stuff, that would be such a natural lead in. Off the top of my head, I know it’s off the wall, but I really want to see Nia [Jax] against Jessica Havok. That’s such a cool matchup and those are two girls that have the same style and body type. You wouldn’t see that anywhere else. I want to wrestle Chelsea [Green] again. I love wrestling her.”
As Grace alluded to, following her performance at NXT Battleground, she will now defend her Knockouts Championship at TNA Against All Odds. While the identity of her opponent has yet to be revealed, Grace, through issuing an open challenge, has left the door open for a WWE talent to potentially face her there.
