AEW Rampage saw a decrease in viewership on May 24.
According to Sports Media Watch, 222,000 viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.08 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 391,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.13 rating in the same demographic.
Rampage aired in an odd timeslot at 6 PM ET on Friday evening prior to TNT’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs.
What happened on AEW Rampage this week?
This week’s show kicked off with PAC defeating Rocky Romero to gain some momentum going into his Trios Title Match at Double or Nothing.
RUSH defeated Isiah Kassidy of Private Party and continued to attack him following the conclusion of the match.
Samoa Joe was also in action and picked up a win over Dom Kubrick.
The main event saw Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander defeat Anna Jay and Alex Windsor. Mercedes Moné appeared following the match and got the better of Nightingale and Statlander and held up the TBS Championship to close the show.
