WWE SmackDown Viewership Decreases On 5/24, Demo Also Drops

WWE SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership on May 24.

According to Pro Wrestling Torch, 2.147 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.56 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode when 2.186 million viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.59 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Nia Jax defeating Bianca Belair to advance to the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

The Street Profits and LA Knight won a six-man tag team match against A-Town Down Under and Carmelo Hayes.

Bayley was also in action and picked up a win over Chelsea Green. Piper Niven attacked Bayley after the match.

The main event saw Randy Orton defeat Tama Tonga to advance to the finals of the King of the Ring Tournament. Solo Sikoa attacked Orton following the match, which led to Kevin Owens’ surprise return.
