Dijak’s contract is set to expire soon, but negotiations are not underway yet.
In the 2024 WWE Draft, RAW selected Dijak, so the NXT superstar will rejoin the main roster. As previously reported, his contract is set to expire in June. With him getting drafted, some fans took the move as a sign that he had agreed to a new deal.
Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per sources in NXT, Dijak had yet to re-sign, at least as of Tuesday morning. The report notes that he has yet to be approached about a new deal. That being said, both sides are confident that one will get done. Brennan notes that Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been “vocal supporters” of him. Dijak’s social media posts have also drawn praise.
Per Brennan, as of April 29, plans for Dijak are not yet in place. However, creative has been pitching ideas for his call-up. Brennan writes that Dijak was not aware that he would be drafted to WWE RAW in advance.
Additionally, the report states that there has been outside interest in Dijak, but Brennan cites AEW sources who noted that they expect him to re-sign with WWE.
Dijak signed with WWE in 2017. He had a memorable run as a member of Retribution on the main roster before he returned to NXT in November 2022.
