In-Ring Segment: Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes

Before Rhodes can speak, the crowd breaks out into a “You deserve it!” chant. Rhodes asks the crowd what they want to talk about. Rhodes notes that last week, he was interrupted by The Rock. As The Rock came to the ring, Rhodes couldn’t help but think of wise words from a wise woman, “who told you it was open mic night, bitch?” The Rock handed Rhodes something Rhodes had gifted to him when this started.

Rhodes says he believes The Rock when he says he will be looking for Rhodes when he returns from Hollywood. Rhodes exclaims that The Rock doesn’t have to look hard; he will be right here. Until then, Rhodes is focused on his next challenger. Rhodes puts over the competitors who will battle for a shot at his title at WWE Backlash. Rhodes has a final message for them all: If you come at the king, you best not miss.

Number One Contender’s Triple Threat Qualifier Match: Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar

Lashley and Knight double-team Escobar. Escboar rolls out of the ring. Knight rolls up Lashley. Lashley kicks out. Escobar gets on the apron. Lashley tosses Escobar into the ring. Knight pulls Lashley under the bottom ropes to the floor. Escobar takes out Lashley and Knight with a dive out of nowhere. After the break, Escobar and Lashley fight up top. Escobar pushes Lashley to the mat. Knight hops up top for a superplex.

Lashley powerbomb Knight and Escobar off the top. Knight catches Lashley with a crucifix bomb. Lashley kicks out. Knight lands a powerslam on Escobar. Knight calls for the BFT. Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo hit the ring and attack Knight. Lashley attacks everyone. The Street Profits hit the ring and made the save. Elektra Lopez tries to get involved, but B-Fab boots her in the face. Knight hits the BFT on Escobar for the win.

Winner- LA Knight

In-Ring Segment: Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso

Heyman notes that after ten years of waiting for revenge on Seth Rollins, Reigns gave in to temptation. Cody Rhodes didn’t get distracted. Just like that, it was over. As Heyman starts to talk about Reigns rising like a phoenix. Solo Sikoa puts his hand on Heyman to tell him to shut up. Sikoa reminds Heyman that Heyman said that losing has consequences. Heyman looks confused. then realizes what Sikoa is saying. Heyman looks horrified. Sikoa moves Heyman out of the way and stares at Jimmy. Jimmy is incredulous. Sikoa hugs Jimmy and tells him that he loves him. Jimmy tells Sikoa he loves him, too.

Sikoa backs away. Someone in a hood attacks Jimmy from behind. The person removes their hood, and it’s Tama Tonga! Tonga beats Jimmy down until Sikoa tells him to stop. Sikoa Samoan Spikes Jimmy several times. As Tonga and Sikoa hold up the ones, Heyman sheepishly joins them while trying desperately to call Roman Reigns from his cell phone. Sikoa rips the phone out of Heyman’s hand and stomps on it. Sikoa tells Tonga to get a chair. Tonga wraps the chair around Jimmy’s neck. Sikoa tells Jimmy that he loves him before landing a vicious hip attack. Heyman is screaming this isn’t what the Tribal Chief wants.

Bron Breakker vs. Cameron Grimes

Breakker wins after a Spear.

Winner- Bron Breakker

In-Ring Segment: Bayley

The crowd showers Bayley with “You deserve it” chants. Bayley says her title win at WrestleMania was special, and the fans made it so special. Tiffany Stratton interrupts Bayley. Stratton says it was a bit rude that she didn’t get a chance to compete at WrestleMania. Stratton says Bayley is obviously building towards an open challenge, so she accepts. Bayley tells Stratton that she actually had someone specific in mind, Naomi. Stratton scoffs and says Naomi couldn’t win a championship if it glowed in the dark. Stratton says they were in the middle of something and reminds Naomi that she has already beaten her. Naomi tells Stratton she tried her on the wrong day. Before Naomi can accept Bayley’s challenge, she will beat Stratton tonight.

Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton

Naomi lands a flurry of offense. Stratton kicks out of Naomi’s standing leg drop. Naomi works over Stratton’s arm. Bayley is watching the match from ringside. Naomi catches Stratton with the butt-butt. Stratton trips Naomi in the ropes and lands a running hip attack. Stratton works over Naomi. Naomi fires back. Stratton sends Naomi into the ring post. After the break, Naomi lands a disaster kick. Basement dropkick by Naomi. Split Splash by Naomi. Stratton kicks out. Stratton surprises Naomi with a nasty basement double stomp. Naomi kicks out! Stratton counters the butt-butt into an Alabama Slam. Stratton stops to trash-talk Bayley at ringside. Naomi rolls out of the way to avoid the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Naomi rolls Stratton into a jackknife cover for the win.

Winner- Naomi

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair vs. Piper Niven and Chelsea Green

Belair dukes a clothesline from Green and hits a spinebuster. Green tags in Niven. Niven says she wants Cargill. Belair goes to tag in Cargill, but Niven grabs Belair’s braid and hits a Michinoku Driver. Belair manages to tag in Cargill. Niven tags in Green. Cargill hits Jaded for the win.

Winners- Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair

Number One Contender’s Triple Threat Qualifier Match: Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles vs. Rey Mysterio

Owens sends Styles over the top. Mysterio gets powerbombed on the apron by Styles. Owens sends Styles into the barricade. Styles tries a diving elbow, but Owens yanks him to the floor. Owens flattens Styles with a cannonball against the barricade. Owens turns around and walks into a seated senton from Mysterio off the apron. After the break, everyone trades big moves, including Owens German suplexing Mysterio and Styles simultaneously. Owens tries a swanton, but Styles gets his knees up. Styles hits a Styles Clash off the top on Mysterio, crushing a still laid-out Owens.

Winner- AJ Styles

After the match, LA Knight hits the ring. Knight and Styles go nose-to-nose and trash-talk each other.
