Where in the world is Jon Moxley?
Blackpool Combat Club member Jon Moxley has been a fixture of All Elite Wrestling since the company’s first pay-per-view event. But since picking up a win over FTR at Revolution, Moxley hasn’t appeared on AEW programming since, leading people to speculate about his absence.
In an update from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Moxley’s time off was scheduled ahead of Revolution, and he’s not off television due to an injury.
This brings into question Tony Khan’s decision to put Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli over FTR at AEW Revolution, knowing that the team wouldn’t be available to compete in the upcoming tournament to crown new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
Moxley has upcoming dates in both Mexico and Japan that will prevent him from being around to participate in the tournament.
