Becky Lynch Conquers The Elimination Chamber
Last month, Becky Lynch expressed her desire to step inside the grueling Elimination Chamber structure for the very first time. On February 24, Lynch received the opportunity to do just that as WWE headed to Perth, Australia for the 2024 Elimination Chamber event.
With WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY already set to defend her title against Bayley at WrestleMania 40, WWE’s Women’s World Championship needed a challenger of its own. As such, announced that the winner of the 2024 Women’s Elimination Chamber would earn the right to vie for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40. After a series of six qualifying matches, the field for the 2024 Women’s Elimination Chamber match boasted the likes of Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Naomi.
For Liv Morgan, this marked her fifth venture into the daunting match. For Tiffany Stratton and Becky Lynch, this marked their first. And of the six entrants, only Bianca Belair held a previous win inside the Elimination Chamber. This, of course, would change upon the conclusion of 2024’s Elimination Chamber spectacle, as Becky Lynch pinned Liv Morgan to clutch the victory.
Morgan previously eliminated the likes of Tiffany Stratton and Bianca Belair to solidify her spot in the final two, but in the end, her efforts weren’t enough to kick out of the Man-handle Slam that came her way.

Rhea Ripley Retains In Her Home Country
At the highly anticipated 2024 Elimination Chamber event, Rhea Ripley, the reigning WWE Women’s World Champion, faced a formidable challenge in Nia Jax. In addition to marking a major title defense, the Elimination Chamber also served as a homecoming for both the Adelaide-born-and-raised Ripley and the Sydney-born Jax. Given the magnitude of this face-off, WWE accordingly positioned Ripley and Jax as the headliners for the premium live event.
After fending off Ripley’s initial burst of offense, Jax seized control and demonstrated her strength, later sending “The Eradicator” crashing through the broadcast table. Despite the setback, Ripley showcased her resilience. Undeterred, she rallied with the support of the enthusiastic Australian crowd.
After shifting the tide back into her favor, Ripley grounded Jax with a superplex, ultimately carving an opening for her to land the Riptide for the win.
With this victory, Ripley now looks ahead at WrestleMania 40, where she will defend her title against “The Man” Becky Lynch. And while Ripley was greeted with fireworks at Elimination Chamber, Lynch has promised a widely different outcome at WrestleMania.

Jordynne Grace Shows No Surrender
WWE Elimination Chamber wasn’t the only special event to take place over the weekend. For TNA Wrestling, February 23 marked the time for No Surrender. On this night, multiple titles were on the line, the Knockouts World and Knockouts Tag Team Championships.
Coming off their title win at TNA Hard To Kill, Decay (Rosemary and Havok) were tasked with defending their Knockouts Tag Team Championships against the former champions — Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly (collectively MK Ultra). Unfortunately for Decay, this match didn’t pan out in their favor, as Slamovich nailed Rosey with a pivotal Snowplow to regain the titles for her team. With this win, MK Ultra begins their second Knockouts Tag Team Championships reign, while Decay’s latest run ends at 41 days.
Later in the evening, Jordynne Grace defended her Knockouts World Championship against the winner of the Women’s Ultimate X match, Gisele Shaw. Shaw, of course, put forth a valiant effort accompanied by some brutal strikes. In the end, though, it wasn’t enough to overcome Grace’s Juggernaut Driver. With her victory, Grace now looks forward to a possible title defense at TNA Sacrifice on March 8.
