On February 24, New Japan Pro-Wrestling held the second night of their New Beginning in Sapporo event from Hokkaido Prefectural General Sports Center Hokkai Kitael in Hokkaido, Japan. In the main event, Tetsuya Naito defended the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against SANADA.

- YOH stole the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title.
- In a vignette, “Scapegoat” Jack Perry sent a message to Shota Umino.
- Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI & Toru Yano def. Francesco Akira, Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan, Jeff Cobb & Matt Riddle,
- After the match, Kazuchika Okada thanked the fans and said he would see them again.
- Guerrillas of Destiny (Hikuleo & El Phantasmo) def. Guerrillas of Destiny (Tanga Loa & Tama Tonga)
- This marked Tama Tonga’s farewell match.
- Nic Nemeth & Ryusuke Taguchi def. Gedo & David Finlay
- After the match, Nemeth challenged Hiroshi Tanahashi to face him for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship, and Tanahashi accepted.
- BUSHI def. TAKA Michinoku
- DOUKI def. Hiromu Takahashi
- Taichi def. Shingo Takagi
- Hair vs. Hair: Yota Tsuji def. Yuya Uemura
- After the match, Yuya had his head shaved.
- IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Tetsuya Naito (c) def. SANADA
- Naito ended the show with Kazuchika Okada.
