It looks like AEW Dynamite is headed back to Boston next month.
The TD Garden in Boston recently added an AEW Dynamite taping to its event calendar on Wednesday, March 13. The change was made on the venue’s Facebook page.
It’s worth noting that AEW has not publicly confirmed its plans for the March 13 taping yet. The company has announced a March 7 Dynamite/Rampage taping in Duluth, Georgia, and a Collision taping in Ottawa on March 16.
The lack of a confirmed date for AEW’s March 13 taping has been the source of speculation in recent weeks. Some believe this will mark the AEW debut of Mercedes Moné, who is a Boston native. Moné is expected to join AEW soon, if she hasn’t already signed a contract with them. PWInsider and Fightful have both reported that Moné is expected in AEW. The latter updated that she’s likely to debut in March, after the Revolution PPV.
Tony Khan is expected to make a big announcement on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. However, it’s unconfirmed if the announcement and the Boston date are connected.
The TD Garden has a capacity of 19,156 for basketball games.
This is AEW’s second time booking the TD Garden, following the company’s debut in July 2023. AEW hosted a Blood & Guts edition of Dynamite and a Rampage taping on July 17. That event had a reported attendance of 8,956.
