WWE SmackDown Viewership Slightly Dips On 2/2, Demo Rises

WWE SmackDown‘s viewership slightly decreased on February 2.

Per Programming Insider via Wrestlenomics, 2.469 million viewers watched the show on Friday. This is slightly down from last week, when 2.475 million viewers tuned in.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.74 rating. This marks an increase from last week (0.71 rating). The demographic rating marks SmackDown’s highest since August 25, 2023.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with WWE United States Champion Logan Paul. He was interrupted by Kevin Owens, which led to a match that saw Owens defeat Austin Theory with Paul on commentary.

The breakup of Bayley and Damage CTRL is official as Bayley revealed that she knows the group has been talking behind her back and she will challenge IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40.

Tiffany Stratton also made her SmackDown in-ring debut with a victory over Mia Yim.

The close of the show witnessed Cody Rhodes step aside for The Rock to allow him to be the one to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
