Logan Paul sparked some buzz with his comments on the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown.
WWE United States Champion Logan Paul came to the ring on Friday night to comment on his win over Kevin Owens at WWE Royal Rumble. He admitted that he underestimated Owens. Paul stated that Owens did more damage than Floyd Mayweather, and he almost knocked him out. The champion emphasized that he persevered and walked away with the win. He then called out the “brittle” roster.
Paul mockingly pointed out CM Punk’s torn tricep and Seth Rollins’ torn meniscus and the way their WrestleMania dreams were “crushed.” He told them to shut up, as everyone gets hurt. Everyone other than him, that is. Paul said he was unbreakable, and he was one of one.
Owens then confronted Paul and stated his intent to take the gold from “The Maverick” so he could restore some prestige to it. Paul turned him down, but not before Owens insulted his PRIME energy drink; when Logan said Kevin smelled horrible, Owens said he had bathed in it before he came to the ring.
Paul then tried to interfere in Owens’ match against Austin Theory, but Owens outsmarted him and scored the win.
