Cody Rhodes is set to appear on the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown.
On Saturday, Cody Rhodes won the Men’s Royal Rumble. After the match, he pointed at Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, so it seemed like he picked him as his opponent for WrestleMania 40. But on the January 29 episode of WWE RAW, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins told Cody he should pick him instead.
Rollins then tweeted another message in which he asked Rhodes what kind of champion he wanted to be. Cody replied by saying he would be at SmackDown on February 2.
WWE has also teased that Roman Reigns’ road to WrestleMania will begin on Friday.
