Two NXT stars made their mark in the Women’s Royal Rumble.
NXT stars often participate in the Royal Rumble matches, and two noteworthy names competed in the women’s battle royal this year. Former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez entered the match as the twenty-seventh competitor. This marked the second year in a row that Perez participated in the Royal Rumble match.
Perez remains a member of the NXT roster. She will challenge Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Vengeance Day.
Former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton also competed in the match. She came out as the twenty-ninth competitor, and she held her own with the best of RAW and SmackDown. Stratton made it to the final three, along with Liv Morgan and Jade Cargill. However, Morgan eliminated Stratton, ending her time in her first Royal Rumble match.
