Cody Rhodes is a man of the people.
“The American Nightmare” sparked some buzz when he agreed to be a fan’s best man at the WWE live event in Spokane, Washington, on January 6. Rhodes saw a sign that asked him to be their best man, and he asked the crowd what he should do. He asked the fan a few questions, and he ultimately agreed to the request.

WWE then shared a clip in which Rhodes commented on the situation. He joked that he should not have seen the sign. Rhodes noted that he did not even know the groom’s name, but the latter would send him a DM on Instagram. Cody said he was a man of his word, so he would be at the wedding. He then congratulated the couple and stated that he was the best man.
