During the December 5 episode of WWE NXT, a QR code sparked some buzz, as it teased a looming return.
A QR code appeared on the screen on Tuesday night. Fans at home were able to scan it and be linked to a landing page for NXT Deadline. The page includes a two-second clip in which someone who sounds like Cora Jade says, “See you at Deadline.”
Additionally, Cora Jade will reportedly be at WWE NXT Deadline.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that, per word going around backstage on December 5, Jade is slated to be at NXT’s premium live event this Saturday. Jade has been out of action since the July 25 episode of NXT, when she lost a Kendo Stick match to Dana Brooke.
There’s no word yet on what Jade will be doing at the event or if she will even appear on screen to mark an end to her hiatus.
