The participants in the AEW Continental Classic will be revealed on November 22.
AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that the AEW Continental Classic Selection Special will air on November 22. It will stream on the company’s social media channels. All 12 fighters will be announced, and the special will feature interviews as well. The tournament will begin on the November 22 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Bryan Danielson, Andrade El Idolo, Mark Briscoe, and Eddie Kingston have already been confirmed for the tournament, which will conclude at AEW Worlds End on December 30.
During AEW Full Gear, Eddie Kingston announced that the winner of the tournament will become the first AEW Continental Champion. Plus, Eddie Kingston will put his ROH World Championship and NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship on the line in the tournament.
Update: Tony Khan announced that the AEW Continental Classic Selection Special will begin at 1 p.m. ET. He wrote that Eddie Kingston will join him and Tony Schiavone, and they will reveal and analyze all 12 fighters in the tournament.
