The Rock Shares What He Misses Most Since Leaving WWE

It has been a long time since Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson returned to WWE to wrestle regularly. The Rock recently shared what he misses the most since not being part of the regular roster.

The People’s Champion was a special guest on the Joe Rogan podcast. The former WWE Champion shared his experience as a wrestler and as arguably the biggest star in Hollywood. He also stated that he most misses working out with his fellow wrestlers.

“I told some of the boys this, I miss that kind of stuff because it’s been a while since I’ve worked out with the boys. Back when I was wrestling, we’d all work together because we would travel together every night, and going to the same gym every day in different cities. But I miss that, that camaraderie,” The Rock said. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

The Rock was initially planned to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39

In the build-up to WrestleMania 39, the wrestling world was convinced that The Great One was going to main event the Grandest Stage of Them All against Roman Reigns. But unfortunately, that did not come to fruition.

A few weeks ago, the Hollywood Megastar was part of the Pat Macafee Show. During the show, he shared that he wrestling at WrestleMania 39 was in fact the actual plan but things didn’t go as planned.

“The Rock headlining WrestleMania with Roman Reigns, SoFi Stadium, that was locked. We were doing it. We were doing it. But let me just tell you. So about in the beginning of 2022, Nick Khan, very good friend, he was very instrumental in bringing Vince and I together. We all flew to LA. We met, we sat, this is the beginning of 2022. We broke out the Teremana, we toasted life, we toasted the business we love. About an hour later, we started talking about the potential of this match could be between myself and Roman Reigns headlining WrestleMania, SoFi.

“We shook hands and we hugged right there, all three of us at the table, and said let’s do this. So then we had a year to really think about this. So the North Star thought was, okay, let’s not do something good, let’s not do something great. Let’s do something unprecedented. It was in what can we create for the fans that has never been done before. A match, great. Roman, incredible athlete. He’s gonna be on Mount Rushmore. Super handsome, good dude, my cousin, family, amazing. We can have the match, but the bigger thought was what can we do for the fans and the business that we love where WrestleMania isn’t the end of something, it’s actually the beginning of something bigger.”

Do you think The Great One will be part of WrestleMania 40?
