Matt Riddle‘s sexual assault claim has led to an internal investigation, according to a new report.
In a since deleted post on Instagram, WWE star Matt Riddle claimed that he was sexually assaulted by a Port Authority police officer at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The post vaguely alleged that the officer touched him inappropriately, but exact details were not provided. Riddle wrote that “no means no”, and the officer proceeded to touch him anyway.
Per TMZ Sports, law enforcement sources say that Port Authority sources got a call for a “disorderly” individual as they were deplaning, and the person turned out to be Riddle.
These sources noted that the officers spoke with Riddle, who seemed apologetic, and other witnesses. Everyone was then allowed to go, and no police report was filed. However, Riddle’s claim has prompted an “internal probe” into the incident.
Riddle also took to Twitter and noted that he never wanted to come back to JFK.
