Jade Cargill is back, and wants her title.
During the September 9 episode of AEW Collision, Cargill shocked fans by returning to the world of All Elite Wrestling following the end of a match that saw Kris Statlander beat Robyn Renegade to retain her AEW TBS Championship. Statlander was promptly ambushed by Charlette Renegade as well, and down came Cargill to help.
In the ring, Cargill made short work of the Renegades, and then quickly turned her attention to Statlander. She hit the Jaded on Statlander, then grabbed the TBS Championship and held it up in front of Statlander, clearly signaling that she wanted it back.
For Cargill, it was her first appearance at an AEW show since her loss to Statlander at AEW’s Double or Nothing. The loss not only saw Cargill lose her championship to Statlander, but also was her first official loss in the ring, breaking an undefeated streak that Cargill had for over 500 days.
