Ahead of AEW’s debut in the United Kingdom, many fans speculated that the event would feature a singles match between Grado and Jeff Jarrett. This speculation heated up when Jarrett smashed Grado with a guitar during a promotional appearance ahead of the show, However, a match between the two was never announced for the card.
On the Zero Hour pre-show ahead of AEW All In, Jeff Jarrett came to the ring and insulted the London crowd. He stated that American wrestlers and promoters paved the way for the show, and he claimed that American fans were better than British fans.
Paul Wight, Anthony Ogogo, and Grado came out. The trio took the fight to Jarrett and his stable, and Grado smashed “Double J” with a guitar, much to the crowd’s delight.
