AEW Collision Results – August 26, 2023

This week’s episode of AEW Collision is the first episode to not kick off with promos from talent to hype tonight’s show.

Jack Perry comes to the ring to retire the FTW Championship. The ring setup is making it out to be a funeral for the title. Perry says these things are never easy, but he’s out there to say a few nice words about the FTW Title.

Perry says the title has grown near and dear to his heart because when they look up the title 100 years from now, there will be a picture of his face beside it. A video package plays showcasing photos of Perry and the title away from the ring.

Jack Perry says it’s finally time to send this title to a better place. Perry pulls out a sledgehammer to smash the championship, but before he can, the lights go out. A video package for HOOK plays. HOOK says the FTW Championship is his bloodline and he’ll be back for what’s his.

HOOK is standing behind Perry when the lights come back on and beats Perry’s ass. The end of the beatdown saw HOOK T-Bone Suplex Perry through a table. HOOK grabs the microphone and tells Perry he’ll see him at Wembley on Sunday.

A video package plays hyping up the match between Adam Cole and MJF tomorrow at AEW All In.

AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy, Eddie Kingston, and Penta El Zero Miedo defeated Kip Sabian, Butcher, and The Blade

  • Eddie Kingston hits a sliding lariat on Kip Sabian to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Stadium Stampede is set for AEW All In

Best Friends join Kingston, Penta, and Orange Cassidy in the ring. Chuck Taylor runs down their opponents at All In tomorrow. Trent takes the microphone and screams at them for wrecking his mom’s van. Trent says they are coming to hurt them tomorrow and they’re gonna do it for Sue.

Before Kingston or Orange Cassidy can speak, they are interrupted by Blackpool Combat Club, Santana, and Ortiz on the Tron. Kingston leaves in the middle of the promo to head backstage and find them.

Eddie Kingston arrives backstage and can’t find anyone. Kingston threatens the cameraman to get their location but gets no answers. Kingston runs down what he’s going to do to his opponents tomorrow in Stadium Stampede.

A hype package plays for tomorrow’s match between The Young Bucks and FTR at AEW All In.

John Silver and Alex Reynolds defeated Action Andretti and Darius Martin

  • After a series of double-team maneuvers, Alex Reynolds gets the pinfall victory for his team on Darius Martin.

A video from after AEW Dynamite plays where AR Fox tries to apologize to Darby Allin and Nick Wayne. Wayne walks off, but Allin accepts Fox’s apology.

They play a music video for The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn in preparation for their title shot with House of Black at All In tomorrow.

A video package plays to hype the women’s four-way title match at AEW All In tomorrow.

Big Bill (w/ Ricky Starks) defeated Vary Morales

  • Big Bill hits a chokeslam on Vary Morales to score the pinfall victory.

Ricky Starks whips Vary Morales with a belt after the match. Starks says he’ll have a bigger strap next week.

Another match is made official for AEW All Out

Ruby Soho is backstage. Soho challenges Kris Statlander to a match at All Out for the AEW TBS Championship.

Willow Nightingale defeated Robyn Renegade (w/ Charlette Renegade)

  • Willow Nightingale hits the Babe with the Powerbomb on Robyn Renegade to score the pinfall victory.

A video package plays hyping up the match between Miro and Powerhouse Hobbs at All Out.

TBS Champion Kris Statlander is backstage. Statlander says she’s sick of the Outcasts and she accepts Ruby Soho’s challenge at All Out.

Keith Lee defeated Zicky Dice

  • Keith Lee hits the Spirit Bomb on Zicky Dice to score the pinfall victory.

A video package plays of LFI being put through the paces by Rush in Mexico.

Samoa Joe comes to the ring. Joe says he is told if he interferes in tonight’s main event he would jeopardize his match against CM Punk at All In. Joe says he will be at ringside and do commentary instead.

CM Punk, HOOK, Darby Allin, and Sting defeated Jay White, Swerve Strickland, Luchasaurus, and Brian Cage

  • CM Punk hits the GTS on Brian Cage and follows it up with a coquina clutch to get the submission victory for his team.

Samoa Joe and CM Punk brawl after the match is over. Jack Perry joins the fray to fight with HOOK, and everyone brawls all over the arena as AEW Collision goes off the air.
