Lio Rush is coming to the All Star Junior Festival.
The 2300 Arena will host the All Star Junior Festival on August 19. Junior heavyweights from all over the wrestling world will compete at the show. IMPACT X-Division Champion Lio Rush has been announced for the event. He will take on Fugaz, Soberano Jr., KC Navarro, and Dragon Kid in a five-way match.
Due to an injury, Rush has not wrestled since July 2022. However, he appeared on the August 10 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
Lio Rush’s Recent History With NJPW
Lio Rush has competed for NJPW several times throughout the last year. He and YOH joined forces and won the Super Junior Tag League 2022. They unsuccessfully challenged for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
Rush also had an impressive run in the Best of the Super Juniors 30. Additionally, he wrestled at NJPW Collision in Philadelphia and Capital Collision in April 2023.
