On August 13, New Japan Pro-Wrestling concluded the NJPW G1 Climax 33 tournament with the final night of action from Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.
In the main event, Tetsuya Naito defeated Kazuchika Okada to win the G1 Climax 33 tournament.

- Tsuji pinned Ospreay and raised the IWGP United Kingdom Title after the match.
- HOUSE OF TORTURE (SHO, EVIL, Dick Togo & Yujiro Takahashi) def. Just Five Guys (SANADA, DOUKI, Taichi & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)
- SHO teased that he’s targeting Taichi’s KOPW Championship, and EVIL attacked IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA.
- G1 Climax 33 Final: Tetsuya Naito def. Kazuchika Okada to win the tournament.
With the win, Naito clinched his third victory in the G1 Climax.
