MLW Fusion Results – August 10, 2023
This week’s episode of MLW Fusion kicked off with a video package from The Calling where it’s revealed that Rickey Shane Page will be coming after Jacob Fatu’s National Openweight Championship.
Los Macizos defeated Lucha Solos, Fantastik and Rayo, and Anton Carillo and Extassis
- Los Macizos powerbombed Anton Carillo through a glass window, and then German suplexed him on the shattered pieces to score the pinfall victory for their team.
A hype package plays for next month’s MLW Fury Road event on FITE+. No new matches were announced.
We hear from the Second Gear Crew, Mance Warner is convincing the rest of the team to spend one more night in Mexico drinking with him, and they agree. Warner reveals they are gonna go drinking with Microman who was standing there the entire time but couldn’t be seen due to camera placement.
MLW Fusion replays footage from last week when Lance Anoa’i was attacked and injured by The Calling. We hear from an angry Jacob Fatu who says the body count of The Calling is about to rise.
Mack vs. Kane continues
After a recap package plays showcasing the current feud between Alex Kane and Willie Mack, we hear from the challenger. Mack says it’s funny that Kane says Bomaye is for the people, but Kane surrounds himself with his people. Willie says Kane is trying to keep people out, but he wants to bring people in. Mack says he wants to go out there and prove to people if he can do something they can too.
Alex Hammerstone defeated Danny Limelight
- Alex Hammerstone hits the Nightmare Pendulum to secure his first pinfall victory since losing his title.
It’s announced that next week on MLW Fusion, Jacob Fatu will finally defend the National Openweight Championship against Ricky Shane Page. They also announce that the finals of the Opera Cup Tournament will also take place next week.
A video package plays showcasing the history of the Opera Cup as MLW Fusion goes off the air.
