“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio stole the win at NXT Great American Bash.
Dominik Mysterio defended the NXT North American Championship against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali at the show. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley accompanied “Dirty Dom” to the ring, and she got involved throughout the bout. At one point, she slammed Lee through the announce table with the Riptide.
Lee delivered a valiant effort, as he kept fighting after the slam. He even kicked out after Dominik hit him with the title. Ali nearly scored the win when he hit Lee with a 450 Splash. But Ripley pulled him out of the ring, and Mysterio pinned Dominik with a Frog Splash.
Mysterio won the title by defeating Lee on the July 18 episode of WWE NXT.
