Ronda Rousey says she’s going to get Shayna Baszler a spot on the WWE SummerSlam card.
On the July 17 episode of WWE RAW, Baszler scored a dominant submission win in a singles match against Nikki Cross. After the match, Rousey showed up, as she was standing in a luxury box high above the ring. Rousey looked back on her journey to WWE, and she called herself the greatest combat sports athlete of all time, while Baszler was a cheap knock-off.
Baszler then fired back by saying that when it came to the action between the ropes, she was the better version of Ronda Rousey. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion then stated that she would do Baszler a favor by getting her a spot at WWE SummerSlam, and she’d see her there.
As of this writing, WWE has yet to confirm the match for WWE SummerSlam, but it seemed all but official.
