In a match that might go down as an instant classic, FTR retained their AEW World Tag Team Championships over Bullet Club Gold tonight on AEW Collision.
In an hour-long, Best 2 out of 3 Falls brawl of a match, both FTR and Bullet Club Gold laid it all out in the ring in order to come out on top. After earning a shot at the titles last week, Bullet Club Gold came in primed to shock the world, and looked ready to do so after winning the first fall after Jay White hit Cash Wheeler with the Blade Runner.
However, FTR would fight back, and would eventually tie things up after hitting the Shatter Machine on Juice Robinson later in the match. This led to an absolutely incredible winner-take-all fall, with both teams going all in on trying to win, trading massive moves with the crowd loving every minute of it.
In the end, however, Dax Harwood would have Juice Robinson locked in the Sharpshooter after moving his kneepad off of his leg earlier, allowing him to lock in an even deeper hold. This proved to be too much for Robinson, who tapped to end the bout.
