Despite the recent addition of Collision, it appears the AEW Battle of the Belts specials aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the AEW Battle of the Belts VII is scheduled for Saturday, July 15, immediately following AEW Collision.
The July 15 episode of AEW Collision is scheduled to take place at the Calgary Stampede Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is when the finals of this year’s Owen Hart Cup are expected to conclude.
Previous Battle of the Belts specials have been paired with live episodes of AEW Rampage, so it appears this special will take place live after AEW Collision.
In addition to PWInsider’s report, TNT also has the All Elite Wrestling special listed on its upcoming schedule for July 15.
The previous Battle of the Belts special featured Jade Cargill defending the TBS Championship against Billie Starkz.
