The family of Darren “Droz” Drozdov is launching a scholarship fund in his name.
Drozdov passed away on June 30, and the wrestling world continued to mourn his loss. Prior to his career in WWE, Drozdov played football in the National Football League and the Canadian Football League.
As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, following Drozdov’s passing, his family is launching a scholarship fund in his name at his alma mater, Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, NJ. The fund is named the Darren Drozdov Oakcrest High School Academic Scholarship.
The fund will benefit athletes at the school.
