Alex Hammerstone confirms that he is currently sidelined.
The reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion left the War Chamber match early due to an apparent injury; the match was taped on April 6, and it aired on the April 18 episode of MLW Underground.
Hammerstone has provided an update, as he confirmed that he suffered a torn adductor muscle. As for the timeline for his return, Hammerstone stated that he will be cleared and ready to compete the weekend of May 12-14.

A new challenger for Hammerstone’s title emerged on the April 25 episode of MLW Underground, as Alex Kane won the Battle Riot to earn a shot at the gold. More information is available here.
