Team Ambition, along with multiple promotions, have cut ties with Davey Richards.
In a tweet on March 17, the Team Ambition training dojo announced that they are permanently parting ways with Richards. The academy also noted that they will be “undergoing some changed and rebranding” in the coming months. In the post, Team Ambition stated, “We remain dedicated to making the St. Louis Professional Wrestling scene, as well as Professional Wrestling as a whole, better and stronger.”
Prestige Wrestling subsequently announced that they have also cut ties with Richards. The promotion noted that they will have updates on matches or plans that involved Richards soon.
Additionally, St. Louis Anarchy announced that Richards is “off” their April 14 event.
Richards has not issued a comment on the situation, and he has deleted his Twitter account.
Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp noted that Richards’ contract with Major League Wrestling was up in February.
