A major name has departed WWE.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that James Kimball, the SVP of Talent Operations and Strategy, has left the company. Per Sapp, the departure came as a result of an HR violation, and Kimball was terminated immediately the prior week.

Kimball spent ten years with UFC, and he had been with WWE for two years. He primarily worked on the NIL program, and he worked closely with Triple H in NXT.
Update: In a subsequent report on Fightful Select, Sapp cited sources who noted that “HR violation” is a fairly broad term that could mean a number of things. Sapp also wrote that several WWE wrestlers and UFC fighters reached out and expressed their surprise in response to the move, with one wrestler stated that Kimball was viewed as someone who would be with WWE for years to come.
