AEW Dynamite Viewership Decreases On 2/1, Demo Slightly Drops

AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on February 1, which was headlined by a No Holds Barred TNT Title match between Darby Allin and Samoa Joe.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 901,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.31 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from the January 25 episode, when 1,003,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.32 rating in the same demographic.

Despite the decrease in viewership, Dynamite rose and took the second spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, they were only defeated by ESPN’s coverage of NBA basketball, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with Jox Moxley defeating Hangman Page. The main event saw Samoa Joe defeat Darby Allin in a No Holds Barred match to win the AEW TNT Championship for the second time. The show ended with Wardlow returning to confront Samoa Joe who put him on the shelf weeks ago as AEW Dynamite went off the air.
