This week’s episode of AEW Rampage is set to feature a handful of title matches, as well as one former champion appearing to demand theirs back.
The upcoming October 21, 2022 episode of AEW Rampage will see Jade Cargill take to the ring to demand that Nyla Rose return her TBS Championship. Rose stole the belt following AEW’s Battle of the Belts IV, which saw Cargill defeat Willow Nightingale, only to be distracted by Vickie Guerrero. In a backstage segment during tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Cargill told Tony Khan to demand that Rose return the belt, or she would be “hijacking” Rampage for 60 minutes.
Elsewhere in the night, Hook will defend his FTW Championship against Ari Daivari, and The Acclaimed will put their AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line against Varsity Athletes in a “Titles vs. Trademarks” match. For The Acclaimed, they’re looking to be able to do their “scissoring” bit as much as they want, while Tony Nese and Josh Woods will be looking for the belts.
