Aussie Open Propose Three-Way Tag Title Match For NJPW Rumble On 44th Street

Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) have thrown down the gauntlet for a three-way match at NJPW Rumble on 44th Street.

In a tweet, New Japan Pro-Wrestling shared a clip of the STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions accepting a previous challenge from Kevin Knight and The DKC. But they upped the ante by noting that The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) deserve a shot at the gold because they beat the champions on IMPACT Wrestling in August. For this reason, they pitched a three-way bout for the titles at NJPW’s event in New York City on October 28.

Fans can also vote on the stipulation for the KOPW 2022 match between Shingo Takagi and El Phantasmo; the options are a Last Daddy Standing Match and a New York City Street Fight. Takagi beat Phantasmo to retain the trophy at NJPW Declaration of Power.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
