AEW Dynamite viewership saw a slight decrease on August 31 for the go-home show to AEW All Out this Sunday.
According to
Showbuzz Daily, 1,020,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.35 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from the August 24 episode when 1,049,000 viewers tuned in. The demo rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.34 rating in the same demographic.
With the decrease in viewership, AEW Dynamite dropped to second place in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. Although they defeated The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is usually their biggest competition, they were topped by US Open last night, which featured Serena Williams, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, who stated he signed an open contract for All Out and was willing to take on all challengers. This led to CM Punk signing the contract later on in the show. The main event of the show saw Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks defeat Will Ospreay and Aussie Open to advance to the Trios Tournament finals at AEW All Out.
