A new PROGRESS World Champion has been crowned.
On August 28, PROGRESS held “PROGRESS Chapter 139: Warriors Come Out To Play” from the Electric Ballroom in London, England. At the end of the show, Big Damo retained the world title against Dan Moloney via disqualification. Spike Trivet subsequently came to the ring, cashed in his title opportunity, and defeated Damo to win the gold.
Damo’s reign began when he defeated Chris Ridgeway at the Chapter 137 show. He defended the gold against Kevin Ku at Black Label Pro’s “Total Eclipse of the Hart” event on August 27.
